The phylum has a dynamic nature (it exists only through the movement of time), a collective nature (forming a species or branching), a malleable nature (allowing progressive development and perfection).

The phylum fulfils the definition of a "STRUCTURAL reality" (like a living organism, with autonomous development).

The substrate of a human invention is thought.

The substrate of a phylum is the collective sphere.

 

The development of a phylum is similar to the successive stages a human invention goes through to be perfected: from initial trial and error, adjustments, then corrections, to the finishing touches. Then comes a slowing-down of modifications, with fewer and fewer changes and novelties, until the final product is complete and stagnates. The most advanced invention then dominates the others.

 

The most accomplished phylum will give rise to the continuation of "encephalization" until the appearance of free will.
